Last Update: May 2026 N-Stickers via Mail (Diese Seite auf Deutsch ist hier.)
Stickers temporarily unavailable - short break Hi! My stock of N stickers has run out, and my previous supplier has gone out of business. A real shame, because the quality was excellent - the stickers even survived race-car use. So I'm taking a short break and will be back here as soon as I have a fresh batch - hopefully in a few weeks. If you happen to know a good sticker supplier with comparable quality, I'd love to hear from you: renntv [at] icloud.com. Thanks and see you soon! There used to be my renn.tv blog here - Mike Frison - and in the summer of 2021 I decided to cease blogging. Even with the blog gone, I still hold the N in high regard.
I came up with the N back in 2002 as a kind of tribute and recognition mark for my website about the Nordschleife. In 2002 the Mercedes-Arena was under construction, so the pit lane was driven the wrong way around. This Edgar-Dören-Porsche with Timo Frings at the wheel was the first officially "Nfizierte" car. The colour scheme is dead simple: red and white for the curbs, black for the asphalt - done. Symmetry matters to me, contrast too - and that certain what's that supposed to be? effect.
As a precaution, I also successfully registered the N as a trademark back in 2003.
Fast-forward around 25 years and the logo has become an inseparable part of the scene. What was originally focused on Nordschleife motorsport has established itself as an underground symbol - for the devotees of the Nordschleife as well as for fans of honest, grounded motorsport in general. All of it without much fanfare or advertising.
I resisted offering the sticker for sale for a long time. Not out of stubbornness, but because I wanted to underline the non-commercial character of the N. I keep it that way: the stickers don't have a fixed price - you decide for yourself what they're worth to you.
A little N-Parade from around 25 years ... :) |
